Pu’u’ala’s offers our 100% Certified Organic Hawai’i Kava Root Powder. While there are many different species of Kava grown throughout the Pacific Islands, our Certified Organic Hawaii Kava is of the highest caliber and therefore is very effective and pleasant tasting. We cultivate the kava plant and separate the root system from the stalk and dry in the sun. We then powder the root, package and send it directly to you. We process our Kava plants on a routine basis therefore providing a very fresh product to our customers. Enjoy Kava as a traditional Pacific Island beverage. All you need is water, a large bowl and a filter cloth made of fine nylon mesh, t-shirt or silk material. Place powder in a filter bag, passing water through the powder, kneading and squeezing many times will create a well-mixed filtered beverage. This half-pound box of 100% Certified Organic Kava Powder makes two gallons of Kava beverage.
