Neem Tea

Our Neem tea is the most medicinal tea in our family of organic teas. On Certain sacred lands, Inia (Hawaii Neem) trees can still be found growing. Even Inia woodcarvings and implements have survived, impervious to insects. In India, Neem (Azadirachta Indica) is known as the “Village Pharmacy” because of its natural anti-microbial properties which compare to those of Echinacea, Garlic and Golden Seal. Pu’u’ala’s recipe calls for ginger, stevia and cinnamon, along with other organic herbs to provide a wonderfully soothing taste.

The use of Neem has been a tradition in Hawaii and India for centuries, and is now shared with you as a relaxing island beverage.

Pu’u’ala’s Neem plants begins in our certified organic nursery, where the keiki (baby plants) are raised. They then mature in our Hamakua Coast fields with a view of the Pacific Ocean…sometimes waving Aloha to the passing whales.
